A beautiful cottage created from what used to be one of the barns. Y Gadlas means 'The Enclosure' and leads onto the communal garden at the rear of the cottage, which in the days when the farm was a working farm,was an enclosed area for the animals.They probably didn't appreciate the glorious panoramic view from here as they grazed contentedly, but you will as you sit at your garden furntiure enjoying a drink or even a meal [BBQ provided]

The main entrance is from the beautiful courtyard adorned in the Summer months with an abundance of flowers in pots, tubs and hanging baskets which lift the spirits as soon as you arrive.The large hall has ample space for wellingtons, walking boots etc and even your bikes if you would prefer to have them with you as opposed to resting in the onsite secure bicyle storage area.This is also an excelent area to wipe down those muddy paws if your dog has been enjoying himself/herself in the grounds!

Off this hallway with traditional Welsh Dresser made by a local craftsman,a tongue and groove,latched door leads into the spacious kitchen / dining room with a view of the communal garden.Here you will fnd everything to make your holiday a relaxing one from dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, ceramic hob and electric oven,coffee maker etcetc all within your Shaker style kitchen area.The dining table seats 6 comfortably and a CD/radio is within reach!The sitting room of this characterful holiday cottage is also accessed from the hall and has the door leading into that wonderful communal garden with the unmissable view. Here you will also find satellite TV and DVD. You will also find a downstairs W.C. before you go up the stairs onto a spacious landing to find a romantic double bedroom, a stylish twin bedroom which can also be converted to a superking bedroom,and a fabulous large bathroom with separate power shower and the ability to have a candlelit bath if that takes your fancy.

Beautiful linen and towels are provided and all heating is included.A high chair and cot can also be made available on request.

Once you step outside the cottage, you have the onsite facilities at your disposal to include a woodland area for picnics or just relaxing by the beautiful pond, a large games room/playroom with table tennis, table football, snooker, pool, and darts not to mention the tenis court and private fishing. In the immediate area there are numerous activities to include watersports, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, white water rafting, high ropes, paintballing, mountain biking,walking and not to mention the wonderful opportunites offered in the Snowdonia National Park.

Bryn Melyn also has an indoor games room in which you can play:

The property's weekend rates apply to: Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights

Rates start at £450 per week in low season to £650 per week in peak season.
