Y Sgubor translates as The Barn as this was one of the original barns in my childhood days when Bryn Melyn Farm was a working farm.My father and I often spoke about converting the barns into cottages but it has taken a few years to achieve that dream!

Whereas in those days, it stored much of the hay, today it offers contemporary comfort and style within its old walls.You enter from the lovely courtyard where in the Summer months, there is an abundance of flowers in bloom in pots, tubs and hanging baskets which lift the spirit as soon as you arrive.

The stylish Shaker style kitchen offers all you might need for a relaxing holiday to include dishwasher, washing machine, ceramic hob and electric oven,fridge/freezer and microwave. Ample cupboard space can accommodate your food for the week and the dining table seats 6 comfortably with a high chair available on request. From this sunny kitchen/dining room, you can walk straight out through your stable door onto the glorious communal garden with its panoramic view of the Upper Dee Valley. Enjoy the view form the garden furniture with a drink or even your barbecue.

Your light and spacious sitting room can seat up to 9 people and here you can enjoy digital TV, DVD,CD/radio and an electric wood burning stove in addition to the very effective oil central heating! This also has a 4' sofa bed for the use of the extra 2 guests.

On the first floor,you have a beautiful kingsize bedroom and a stylish twin bedroom, both with fabulous views of the Upper Dee Valley. Cot available on request. Beautiful linen and towels are provided and heating is included.

The bathroom with separate power shower lies between the 2 bedrooms and you can even have a candlelit bath if you fancy it!

Once you step outside the cottage, you have the use of all the onsite facilites which include a private tennis court,  private fishing,  large games room/playroom with table tennis, pool, snooker, table football and darts, playing fields with goals, woodland area with picnic area and pond.

In the immediate area there are watersports to include canoeing, kayaking, sailing, white water rafting, the Get Wet Centre with high ropes and paintballing, mountain biking at Coed y Brenin and in Llandegla, and quad biking to name but a few.

Our local pub is within 0.6miles and an award winning restaurant only 2 miles away in Llandrillo.

The property's weekend rates apply to: Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights

NB: Prices may be subject to change at the advertiser's discretion.

Rates start at £450 per week in low season to £650 per week in peak season.
